CREATIVE TOOLKIT

CAMERA LANGUAGE / DIRECTION

Choose the feeling. Shape the frame.

Framing, viewpoint and movement each tell a different story. Open the notes, then watch a reference.

01 / SHOT SIZE

Wide shot

Space & scale

Keep the subject and surroundings visible. Useful for a location reveal or a person’s relationship to a place.

Direction notes

A wide shot describes framing; a wide-angle lens describes optics. They are not the same choice.

02 / SHOT SIZE

Close-up

Emotion & detail

Fill the frame with a face or a meaningful object. Direct attention to a reaction, texture or small action.

Direction notes

Keep the important detail sharp and simplify the background. Cutting closer should reveal something new.

StudioBinder · video guide ↗

03 / CAMERA HEIGHT

Low angle

Presence & power

Place the camera below the subject and look upward. The subject can feel imposing or monumental.

Direction notes

Check vertical lines and facial distortion. A subtle low viewpoint can work better than an extreme tilt.

04 / FRAMING

Over the shoulder

Connection & tension

Use one character’s shoulder in the foreground while showing the other. It places the viewer within a conversation.

Direction notes

Maintain a clear eyeline and consistent screen direction across reverse shots.

05 / CAMERA MOVEMENT

Dolly / tracking

Follow & reveal

Move the camera through the scene: follow a subject, approach a detail or reveal a new space.

Direction notes

A physical move changes perspective; a zoom changes magnification. Plan the start frame, end frame and pace.

06 / CAMERA MOVEMENT

Orbit / arc

Form & discovery

Travel around the subject while keeping it as the visual anchor. A partial arc can reveal shape and surroundings.

Direction notes

Keep distance and speed deliberate. Check how background, lighting and the subject’s silhouette change.

PLANNING A PROJECT

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an AI filmmaker or AI artist do?

An AI filmmaker develops the story, visual references, shot plan and edit while using generation tools for selected production tasks. My focus is cinematic brand ads, product visuals, micro dramas and creative reels, with human direction and careful finishing.

Which service fits my project?

Choose AI brand ads for a campaign message, CGI and product films for a product-led visual story, or micro dramas and reels for a short narrative. Send your references and delivery requirements to discuss the scope.

What should I send with my enquiry?

Share your brand or story, target audience, preferred format, reference films, deliverables and deadline. A clear brief helps define the creative scope.

Can you create both horizontal and vertical films?

Yes. Projects can be planned for 16:9, 9:16 or 4:5 delivery. Composition and reframing are considered around the platforms in your brief.

How are pricing and timelines decided?

Scope, film length, scene complexity, character continuity, finishing and agreed revisions determine the quote and production schedule.

Are all portfolio films commissioned client campaigns?

The portfolio includes brand films, original experiments and inspired creative concepts. A concept featuring a brand or character does not imply an official partnership.
